"I hired Golden Gate Plumbing to address a leak in my water supply that had been going on for weeks. It was discovered when I received my water bill that was 10x normal. After verifying that the meter was working and no leak detected inside the house, I initially contacted a landscaper to inspect my irrigation system. When they identified a leak in the main, I contacted Golden Gate Plumbing. They were extremely responsive and verified the leak in the galvanized line, perhaps originally installed when the house was constructed over 125 years ago. I was impressed by how thorough they were in their inspection. They rerouted the main, replacing the pipe with copper. When doing that, they discovered additional smaller leaks and recommended replacement of all supply lines from the meter, as well as installation of a Moen Flo system for leak detection and easy shutoff, even when away from home. They gave me a good price and completed the work on schedule. Throughout, communication was good and the work was professional. Disruptions, including water shutoff, were minimal. Having an old house, I have additional plumbing work to do and will likely continue to use Golden Gate Plumbing! "
